This financing, a low-interest, three-year loan, will support the company's next phase of growth, including expanded production through NYC-based garment sample rooms, continued development of domestic natural fiber sourcing, and increased visibility for the fast-growing Made by Immigrants Campaign. The new loan builds on the Fibers Fund’s earlier TA grant support to CCNY, which helped the company begin identifying new sources for U.S.-made natural fiber textiles to use in its designs. Together, the TA grant and this new loan represent the Fund's integrated capital model in action: patient, flexible financing that meets businesses where they are and grows with them. The investment advances the shared mission of Cindy Castro New York and the Fibers Fund to strengthen regional textile economies, support underserved entrepreneurs, and increase market demand for responsibly sourced natural fibers and locally manufactured apparel.
